Fraud investigation is the process of investigating suspected fraud to determine whether fraud actually occurred, how it was committed, who was involved and what damage it caused. Fraud is a form of fraud where someone deliberately provides wrong information or conceals certain information with the aim of gaining financial or material advantage at someone else's expense.
